↳ My Blood
My blood is about when someone takes so much from you and then never gives anything back. So you’re really depleted and you’ve like literally lost blood and you’re weak and I guess that’s what My Blood is about. It’s about being weakened by someone

I’m pretty sure they’re talking about the Slow Down demo that Eric (Digginforgould) leaked the other day and now the song with Calvin Harris. Oh! And also the song with Iggy Azalea that’ll be released soon! :)
In a highly clandestine affair, more reminiscent of the cold war activities of the base, the former Critics’ Choice awards winner at the Brits and 180 extras spent a day at Wittering shooting the video for the single “Burn”.
As with all new pop videos the need for secrecy was paramount and very few people at Wittering had any knowledge of the event until the day of the shoot.
Commanding Officer of RAF Wittering, Group Captain Damian Alexander said: “We were delighted to be able to facilitate this project and it was a pleasure to meet Ellie and some of the NTSH production team.
“As you can imagine, trying to keep the arrival of an international pop star and 180 extras secret was extremely challenging, particularly when you consider our personnel are trained to be observant of the unusual! The Wittering Team did a great job in their usual professional manner and I know their efforts were really appreciated by the Production Team”.
Flight Lieutenant Don Earl, who managed the event said he was delighted to work with the singer-songwriter. He added: “It was an absolute pleasure; she is a very hard working and courteous lady who surprised me by taking the time to meet the RAF personnel assisting on the day, despite her busy schedule”.
However, the biggest surprise of the day must have been that of the Flight Lieutenant’s daughter Rachel, who found herself chatting to Ellie when the star answered her father’s phone whilst he was driving.
She said: “It was amazing we chatted for about five minutes. She asked me how school was and what I wanted to do as a career; she was so friendly and down to earth. I can’t wait to see the video”.
